Our Beliefs

Apostolic doctrine and fellowship according to the Bible. Our creed, discipline, rules of order, and doctrine is the Word of God as taught and revealed by the Holy Ghost (St. John 14:26; 1 Corinthians 2:9-13). "All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works" (2 Tirnothy 3:26-17).

We fully believe in the mystery of the Godhead. We believe that God has been pleased to manifest Himself as a Father, the Source of all life, as a Son, the Channel and Redeerner of all life, and as the Holy Ghost, the Revealer and Energizer of all life. The Father is the invisible God who is made visible in Jesus, and the Holy Ghost, is the invisible counterpart of God. The Father is God in creation, the Son of God in redernption, and the Holy Ghost is God in inspiration. When one rnanifestation of the Godhead is patent, that is, can be seen, the other two are latent, that is, they can only be seen through the one that is patent (St. John 14:6-12). Jesus was both hurnan and divine; Mary's son and Mary's God; Creator and Creature; God manifest in the flesh and Eternal Father made visible apart from whom there is no God. We believe that at the final consummation of all things, the one visible God will be our Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe the only condition on which God will accept a sinner is repentance from the heart for the sins which he has committed -- a broken and contrite heart He will not despise (Psalrns 51 :17; st. Luke 24:47; Acts 2:38). John preached repentance, Jesus proclaimed it, Jesus commanded that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His Name, beginning at Jerusalem.

We believe that baptism by immersion should be administered in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. "Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost" (Acts 2:38)

We believe the Holy Communioh as instituted by Jesus Christ according to Matthew 26:26-29; St. John 6:53-58; 1 Corinthians 11 :24-25).

We believe the Lord Jesus Christ is our healer (Exodus 15:26; Psalms 103:2-3). Since the Lord made our bodies, should it be thought incredible that He should be able to heal them? "With His stripes we are healed" (Isaiah 53:4-5; Matthew 8:14-17; St. John 14:12; Mark 16:17-18; James 5:14).

The Rapture

We believe that Jesus is coming again in person, is a doctrine clearly set forth in apostolic times. Jesus taught it, the apostles preached it and the saints expected it (1 Thessalonians 4:14-17; Titus 2:13-14).
